Adam Liaw is a cook and writer specializing in Asian cuisines. The author of seven cookbooks, he has also presented a number of award-winning television programs in Australia and Asia. Adam is UNICEF Australia’s National Ambassador for Nutrition, and in 2016 he was appointed by the Japanese government as an official Goodwill Ambassador for Japanese Cuisine.

Adam holds degrees in science and law, and worked as a lawyer for more than a decade. He has been a columnist for The Wall Street Journal’s Scene Asia, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Guardian and Sunday Life magazine.
