This variation on the classic Aviation cocktail highlights all the best parts of summer stone fruits. It has a bit of pucker, but still has the honeyed sweet taste of apricots.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces London Dry gin

  • 1 barspoon Maraschino liqueur

  • 1/2 ounce apricot liqueur

  • 1/4 ounce freshly squeezed juice from 1 lemon

  • Garnish: Lemon twist

Directions

  1. Add gin, Maraschino, apricot liqueur, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until well chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass, garnish with lemon twist if desired, and serve immediately.
