Experience

Penny Cherubino founded BostonZest in 2004 with her husband Ed as a decidedly food-centric lifestyle guide for locals, visitors, and the newly relocated to Boston. It was designed to be a reliable resource “for grown-ups," showing them where to find the best food and drink, the freshest local products, and fun events in the city.  BostonZest has been contributing food features to Serious Eats since 2009.  Always on the hunt for emerging local food culture, Penny and Ed have been covering the growing food truck/street food scene since 2011.  Penny advocates for local food producers through her “Fresh and Local” column, which appears in area publications of the Independent Newspaper Group, like Beacon Hill Times and Lynn Journal.
