This riff on the classic King Cole cocktail subs in Hochstadter's Rock and Rye for the bourbon and simple syrup and increases the dose of Fernet Branca. Instead of an orange garnish, you'll add a little orange curaçao.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Hochstadter's Rock and Rye
  • 3/4 ounce Fernet Branca
  • 1/2 ounce Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao
  • Garnish: blueberries on a pick

Directions

  1. Fill a mixing glass 2/3 full with ice. Add Rock and Rye, Fernet Branca, and dry curaçao. Stir until well chilled, about 20 seconds.

  2. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with blueberries and serve.
