Danielle Centoni is an award-winning food writer and recipe developer whose career spans two decades.
- She's a former newspaper and magazine editor and the author of six cookbooks and counting.

Experience
Danielle grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and began cooking seriously in high school. After college she began her food journalism career as the food editor of The Oakland Tribune in 2000. Five years later she moved to Portland, Ore., and became a food editor and writer at The Oregonian, then senior editor at Imbibe Magazine and MIX Magazine, and editor of Eater Portland. She has written six cookbooks, is working on her seventh, and has contributed editorial work to several others.
Favorite Purchase
My powder pink 3 ½ quart Le Creuset pot. I fell in love with the color and snagged it on a deep discount. At first it seemed impractically small but I use it for almost everything, from cooking rice to warming up leftovers.

Danielle has a BA from Smith College and WSET Intermediate Course Passed with Distinction.
