This is one of our favorite cocktails from The Trilby. Fresh grapefruit juice balances the fruity sweetness of this rum drink; it tastes a bit like a grapefruit half sprinkled with brown sugar. Yum!

Ingredients

  • Ice

  • 1 1/2 ounces Pyrat XO Reserve rum or other aged rum

  • 3/4 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice

  • 3/4 ounce dark agave nectar

  • 1 1/2 ounces freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice

  • Dash peach bitters

Directions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add rum, lime juice, agave, grapefruit juice, and bitters and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
