Experience

Erin has been a contributor at Serious Eats since 2010. While her area of expertise is dining and tourism in San Diego, her interests extend far beyond the local scene. She has investigated where to eat ice cream in Phoenix, talked sandwiches with Portland chef Rick Gencarellis, and revealed little known facts about Ben & Jerry's. In 2017, Erin founded Friendly Feast, a non-profit organization that brings together local chefs, coffee roasters, brewers, farmers, and artisanal producers of food and spirits to support charitable organizations through collaborative culinary fundraising events.

Education

Erin has a BA in radio and television arts from Ryerson University.
