Why It Works

  • Use unfiltered cider for the best flavor.
  • Cider and Bénédictine add sweet and rich honey notes to sparkling wine.

Autumn means apple, and apple cider. It’s delicious ice cold, or warm and spiced, but it can also offer a fall twist on classic cocktails. Add an orchard element to this classic boulevardier, or this warming punch with fruit and spices. If you love buttered rum, cider and maple turn it decidedly autumnal. And for those who prefer a bite, ginger and black pepper balance out this cider cocktail.

If you’re looking for something celebratory, this seasonal Champagne cocktail is enriched with a splash of apple cider (and made more affordable by using fizzy Prosecco instead of the fancy French stuff.) Bénédictine offers herbal, honeyed flavors, and it's a natural mate for fresh cider and sparkling wine. Try serving this seasonal sparkling cocktail as guests walk into your home for this year's round of parties.
