Google just launched its annual Holiday 100 list, a gift guide based on the year’s top-searched apparel, electronics, toys, and (you guessed it) kitchenware. The list features over a dozen kitchen items, many of which we’ve tested ourselves. Alongside everything from ice cream makers to electric scrubbers, it even features the newest fire pit model from editor-favorite brand Solo Stove.
After a rigorous review process, seven of Google’s trending items hit the mark. From our favorite espresso machine to a quietly-trending insulated water bottle, these are the seven kitchen items we love from Google’s Holiday 100 list.

Breville Bambino Plus Espresso Machine
It’s no surprise that Breville espresso machines are trending this year. We’ve tested a lot of coffee makers, and this model from Breville has come out on top time and time again. The Bambino Plus is incredibly user-friendly and heats up quickly—plus its small size means it fits easily on any kitchen counter. In our tests, we found this machine incredibly easy to use, doing all the work for us while freshly brewing delicious shots of espresso. It can also steam or froth creamy, fluffy foam at the push of a button for lattes, macchiatos, and cappuccinos that will rival your local barista’s.
Nutr Nut Milk Maker
Bottled nut milk is expensive, but making your own has historically been time-consuming and required lots of specialized equipment. Perhaps that’s why, according to Google, interest in homemade nut milk makers is on the rise. We tested all of the top nut milk makers, and this one impressed us most with its ergonomic display. If you’re on the plant milk train and want an easy way to start making your own, Nutr can produce your first batch in just six minutes.
Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler
Yeti was this year’s top-searched cooler, and we understand why. In our tests, it kept ice cold and frozen for 10 days without leakage. It also scored points for visual appeal and clever features including non-slip grips and a basket that nestles into the cooler to keep dry goods cold but out of the ice and water. Senior editor Riddley Gemperlein-Schirm says Yeti coolers are one of the most durable pieces of equipment she’s tested in all her years of reviewing kitchen products (and that’s saying a lot!).
GE Profile Countertop Nugget Ice Maker V2
If you’ve scrolled through social media lately, you might have noticed that TikTok is obsessed with mini ice. And according to Google Trends, we’ve all been inspired by our favorite creators—nugget ice makers are totally trendy. We tested all the top brands and models, but the GE Profile Countertop Nugget Ice Maker V2 impressed us most with its ability to make and store large quantities of ice. Producing batches of ice in just nine minutes, this machine makes enough for an entire party without any drips or leaks.
KitchenAid Artisan Series 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer
Google calls KitchenAid mixers the “Little black dress of baking,” and we happen to agree. If you love baking in smaller batches, we recommend the 5-quart Artisan Series model. It’s relatively small and light, yet powerful enough to efficiently whip, mix, stir, and knead with ease. If you’re one of the (many) people who searched for KitchenAid stand mixers this year, you may already know that the brand has several shapes, sizes, and models to choose from. However, after multiple rounds of testing, this model is our favorite pick for casual bakers.
Owala Free Sip Vacuum Water Bottle
While it seems that Stanley has taken over our social media feeds and store shelves, searches for Owala water bottles more than quadrupled this year, according to Google. It won our tests because of its ergonomic dual mouthpieces that allowed us to sip slowly or take larger gulps of water, which makes it as useful at the gym as it is at your desk or bedside table. We also love that it’s leakproof and keeps drinks colder for longer than most of the water bottles we reviewed.
Weber Traveler Portable Gas Grill
Whether it’s camping, picnicking, or tailgating, it seems we’re all eating (and cooking) outside more than ever. Portable grills were trending on Google this year, with a major spike in June (when it’s getting into peak grilling season). We love that many of these space-saving, affordable appliances feature built-in tools like cutting boards and are easy to take on the go—especially our overall favorite from Weber. In our tests, the Weber Traveler came out as the most intuitive, user-friendly, and easy-to-transport model. It also performed beautifully when it came to heat retention and efficiency.
