Why It Works
- Letting the broccoli rabe rest with salt 10 minutes before grilling encourages more flavor with a quick brine.
- A grill basket keeps slim broccoli rabe stalks from falling through the grill grates.
- Tossing the vegetable with a vinaigrette immediately after serving adds brightness and a bit of heat from the pepper flake.
If you're looking for a no-fuss vegetable to grill while cooking your main protein, broccoli rabe is a perfect fit. Easy to prep and fast cooking, broccoli rabe is grilled then tossed with red pepper flakes and a lemon vinaigrette.
