Hannah Howard
Experience
Hannah Howard is a writer and food expert who spent her early career working in restaurants. Today, she writes about delicious things and teaches food writing classes. She has written two memoirs, Feast: True Love in and Out of the Kitchen (2018) and Plenty: A Memoir of Food & Family (2021).
Hannah has a BA from Columbia University in Creative Writing and Anthropology and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the Bennington Writing Seminars.
In addition to Serious Eats, her work has been featured in New York Magazine, VICE, SELF, mic, Thrillist, Serious Eats, Bust, refinery29, Salon, and the Chicago Review of Books.
