Expertise: Food Science, Baking, Pastry, Vegetarian, Vegan, Sustainable Agriculture, Organic, CA Cuisine

I grew up in the CA agricultural hub of the Central Valley. I am a total fruit snob because of it. I worked for 11 years as a product and recipe developer for Annies. I helped develop new products, food styled, managed the test kitchen and even hosted a YouTube cooking show. I highly recommend getting a job where you get paid to eat macaroni and cheese several times a day. Teaching is my passion. I've taught all over the Bay Area, including classes at SF City College and Sur La Table. I have a BS, Food Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a certificate in baking & pastry arts from The Culinary Institute of America Greystone.
