Hailing from the shores of Lake Erie outside of Cleveland, Ohio, Joe is a travel, food, and recipe writer based in Berlin. His focus in recent years has been on exploring his Ashkenazi Jewish heritage through food, studying and writing about how the cuisine has evolved over centuries. This work has turned him into an eager home cook, encouraging others to find their culinary spark through their heritage.
