Launch: Le Creuset Noel Collection Picks Tout

Serious Eats / Madison Woiten

Offering long-lasting durability and beautiful enamel colorways, Le Creuset produces oodles of items that have won our tests and earned permanent spots in our kitchens. This week, Le Creuset dropped its annual Noël Collection, full of gorgeous and festive items including Santa spatulas and snowflake cake pans. While we haven’t had the chance to test all of the newest items, the collection includes uniquely adorned takes on a few of our longtime recommendations.

From Dutch ovens featuring Christmas tree etchings and golden trimmings to a whistling stovetop kettle with glittering gold details, these are the Le Creuset holiday items worth adding to your collection (or giving as VERY generous gifts).

4 Pieces Worth Buying From Le Creuset’s Noël Collection

Le Creuset Noël Collection Holiday Tree Round Dutch Oven

From sourdough loaves to soups and everything in between, we use our Dutch ovens almost daily. They’re highly versatile and relatively light, so if you love to multitask or prefer cookware that can double as servingware, the enameled cast iron model from Le Creuset is a no-brainer. In our tests, it was a top performer due to its durability and even heating that made uniformly browned, crisp chicken thighs. Its large, looped handles make it easy to lift, too. This model comes in dark green and matte white colors and features embossed Christmas trees that are highly festive but subtle enough to pull out any time of year. Unlike the lid handle on the classic Dutch oven, this one is gold and star-shaped to add a bit of festiveness to the holiday table.

This year, the Noël collection features not one, but two festive Dutch oven designs. This bright white one is adorned with gold scrollwork and classic Christmas iconography for making your merriest meals yet (ha). Complete with a wreath encircling the handle, this Dutch oven feels holiday-esque, but still appropriate for year-round cooking.

Le Creuset Noël Collection Snowflake Braiser

Le Creuset

When it comes to cozy, cold weather recipes like pot roast, chili, and stew, we love a cast iron braiser. Le Creuset’s braiser won our review for its large, spacious cooking surface, ergonomic handles that make it easy to transfer into and out of the oven, and durable enamel that didn’t chip after significant wear and tear. If your holiday meals revolve around slow-cooked meats, casseroles, and comforting vegetable roasts, this snowflake-stamped model from the Noël Collection makes a gorgeous addition to a wintertime table.

Le Creuset Noël Collection Classic Whistling Kettle

Le Creuset’s classic whistling kettle was the fastest-boiling kettle we tested. Its ergonomic handle is far enough away from the spout to remain cool to the touch, which also made it easier to open the lid and fill the kettle with water. This limited edition enameled kettle comes in a winter white with gold metal detailing, making it a cozy addition to holiday breakfasts but still versatile enough to display on the stovetop year-round.
