Lemon-Marinated Halibut Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) halibut fillets, skin removed

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Place fish, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large Ziplock bag. Move fish around to coat. Let rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400°F while fish marinates.

  2. Take fish out of bag, shaking off excess, but not all, marinade. Place in a glass baking dish. Roast fish until opaque and flaking, about 18 minutes.
