The flavors of miso soup find their way to a crisp and crunchy snack in this homemade popcorn. The secret ingredient: instant miso soup mix with some pieces of crumbled seasoned nori snack sheets. So familiar, yet so new...and totally crave-worthy.

Miso-Soup-Flavored Popcorn Recipe

Makes 8 cups

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels, popped (about 8 cups popped)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 single-serving packets instant miso soup mix (about 20 grams)
  • 5 sheets seasoned nori snack sheets, crumbled
  • Kosher salt

Directions

  1. Place popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl and drizzle melted butter all over, tossing to coat evenly. Add instant miso, tossing to coat evenly. Toss in crumbled nori. Season with salt, if needed, and serve. Popcorn can be stored at room temperature in a zipper-lock bag overnight.
