Nadia Berenstein is a James Beard Award-winning journalist and historian who specializes in writing about flavor, and how it relates to science, technology, history, and culture. In addition to Serious Eats, her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Lucky Peach, and Popular Science, among other places. She is currently at work on her book, Flavor: An Artificial History, which tells the story of synthetic flavors and the people who make them. Nadia was also an advisor to the Museum of Food and Drink for their inaugural exhibit, "Flavor: Making It And Faking It."
