  • Nick began hosting Eater’s web series The Meat Show in 2015, exploring and reviewing meat dishes from around the world. He launched another carnivore-centric show, Meat Life, on YouTube.

New York-based British food writer, photographer, and self-proclaimed professional carnivore Nick Solares began his career in food writing when he created his blog Beef Aficionado in 2006. He worked for six years at Serious Eats as a photographer and contributor of hamburger and pizza reviews. Nick has also written articles for Eater, Eater Austin, Eater New York, Rachael Ray In Season, and TASTE Cooking. He started hosting Eater’s video series The Meat Show in 2015, taking viewers on dining excursions across the globe to sample some of the world’s most famous and beloved meat dishes, exploring the science, history, and meaning behind them. Nick launched another series Meat Life on YouTube dedicated to celebrating the modern carnivore lifestyle.
