Nicole is a food writer, recipe developer, and food stylist. She's worked, written, and tested for several different publications, and worked in restaurants—both front and back of house—for several years. Her work is often heavily influenced by her Nigerian heritage, and West African food history is both an academic and personal interest of hers.

Nicole currently works as a food writer, recipe developer/tester, and food stylist. She completed a graduate degree in Food Studies, which has helped her to think about food in complex and nuanced ways. She's worked a variety of different jobs in the food world, including Assistant Food Editor, Associate Culinary Producer, Garde Manger, and Restaurant Operations Coordinator.
