While we love an Aperol spritz or good old Prosecco-plus-St-Germain, you might want something a bit warmer and richer in a holiday sparkling drink. Gently sweet, jammy ruby port, pomegranate juice, and bubbles are a gorgeous combination, and the drink comes together in seconds. The result almost reminds us of the sparkling red wine Lambrusco.

1 ounce (30ml) ruby port
1 dash orange bitters

One 1-inch round lemon peel, for garnish
Directions
Combine all ingredients except lemon peel in a flute. Spritz a 1-inch round of lemon peel, skin side down, over the surface of the drink and discard.
