Pruitt Kerdchoochuen grew up in Thailand, where she split her time between the mall food courts of Bangkok and the mountains of Muak Lek, Saraburi. Pruitt currently lives and cooks in New York's Hudson Valley.

Experience

Pruitt is a professional cook and recipe developer currently based in Upstate New York. A lifelong food history nerd, she holds a BA in History from Yale University and an Associate's in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. Pruitt runs Thaiglish, a pop-up series exploring the food of her native Thailand in the context of her adopted home in the Hudson Valley.
