This classic twist on a Negroni adds in some absinthe to bring great herbal and light anise flavor that lingers in the background.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce gin

  • 1 ounce Campari

  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth

  • 1/4 ounce absinthe

  • Orange twist, for garnish

Directions

  1. Fill a mixing glass 2/3 full with ice. Add gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, and absinthe. Stir until well chilled, about 20 seconds.

  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist and serve.
