Sam Bresnick is a former Serious Eats intern who contributed a number of menu ideas to the site. He’s worked as a journalist in Sri Lanka, written for magazines like The New Republic and Foreign Policy, and is currently an assistant editor at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy. The weekends of his youth on the Upper West Side of Manhattan were split between sporting contests and food treks; nowadays, he likes to travel in search of East and South Asian fare as well as Mexican and Middle Eastern specialties.
