If you like bitter liqueurs at all, this is a drink you must try. This drink is a variation of Stephen Cole's Bitter Giuseppe, adapted by Kirk Estopinal, and further adapted before it was introduced to me by Chad Arnholt of Trick Dog.

Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces Cynar
1 ounce Punt e Mes
1/4 ounce fresh juice from 1 whole lemon
2 dashes orange bitters
Pinch kosher salt
Directions
In an Old Fashioned glass, stir Cynar, Punt e Mes, lemon juice, and orange bitters with a large ice cube until chilled. Add salt on top of ice and serve.
