Experience
Starting in 2009, I started working as a line cook in restaurants in the Denver area, eventually working my way up to sous chef at places like Mercantile Dining and Provisions and Frasca Food and Wine.
I later joined the team at Eleven Madison Park where I worked as a chef de commis to help with the reopening following the closure in the summer of 2017.
From there, I went on to work as a test kitchen assistant at Food52, then was hired to do the same role at Hearst Magazines. Here, I worked on the food content for all Hearst brands, including Good Housekeeping, Women's Health, Woman's Day, Prevention, and Country Living.
Starting in 2019, I started working as a freelance writer, contributing to new verticals in outlets like Food Network and Tasting Table, along with Serious Eats.
Education
Taylor received a Bachelor's of Science from Johnson and Wales University in Culinary Nutrition and studied literature at Bennington College.
