Experience

Yvonne Ruperti is a food writer, recipe developer, former bakery owner, and cookbook author. She penned four columns — "Chocoholic," "Chicken Dinners," "Singapore Stories," and "One Bowl Baking" — on Serious Eats, and has also developed recipes for Redbook, Oxmoor House books, InSing.com, Sweet Designs, and Yankee magazine. She is an adjunct professor of baking at the Culinary Institute of America in Singapore. Before moving to Singapore, she was a test cook, food stylist, and on-air talent at America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Illustrated. Yvonne is the author of two cookbooks: One Bowl Baking: Simple From Scratch Recipes for Delicious Desserts (2013) and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Easy Artisan Bread (2010).
